Welcoming the 2022–2023 mechanical and aerospace engineering faculty

The School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy ASU mechanical and aerospace engineering is proud to welcome four new innovators to our cohort. Professor Alberto Scotti is eager to bring his expertise in environmental fluid mechanics to ASU to implement an engineering approach to sustainable solutions. Associate Professor Lin Li joins the faculty from University of Alabama and specializing in multiscale material mechanics models and simulations. Assistant Teaching Professor Erik Andersen earned his degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah, where his work focused on wireless power transfer to small biomedical implants. Assistant Teaching Professor Ricardo Cruz Lozano brings experience in interactive design and manufacturing from his graduate studies in Mexico and France, and industrial and systems engineering knowledge from his undergraduate studies.
