Welcoming the 2022–2023 new chemical engineering faculty

by | Aug 19, 2022 | Faculty

The School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy is proud to welcome two new innovators to our chemical engineering cohort — Assistant Professors Dorza Parviz and Layla Khalifehzadeh. Dorsa Parviz received her doctoral degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University. Her research uses experimental, theoretical and computational tools to understand colloidal and interfacial reactions at a nano- and microscale. Khalifehzadeh, who joins from Stanford University conducts research that combines advanced polymer synthesis, molecular engineering and computational methods to develop novel biomedical platforms for improved disease diagnosis and therapy.
