Salute to Service through Service

Graphic that says "Celebrating our heroes"

Arizona State University has a long tradition of honoring our country’s military. The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering has both active duty and veteran members among the current student body and alumni. The Fulton Schools recognizes those veterans and all those who put service above self as part of ASU’s Salute to Service. These individuals, motivated by a desire to help, protect and give back to others, volunteer to serve in the military and in their communities. We celebrate all who have served our nation and thank them for their sacrifices and their service.

On top of that, the Pat Tillman legacy intrigued me, and the Pat Tillman [Veterans Center] made the path to my degree that much easier for me." - Erik RylandSalute to Service graphic with text that says "Reach for all of the educational opportunities you can get; civilian and military." - Paul SteeleSalute to Service graphic with text that says "Today's engineers, as well as many other disciplines, are already heirs to the great legacy of WWII and the era of change that followed. You can make a difference, whether you choose to do that in a civilian capacity or the military services. But there is no civilian substitute for the pride and community you gain serving among those who potentially lay their very life on the line to sustain the freedoms our benefactors died for." - Harry WarfordSalute to Service graphic with text that says "Harry Warford" and a photo of himSalute to Service graphic with text that says "Perserverance above all.
