The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering’s Block Party kicked off on Oct. 22, 2016, drawing crowds with more than just tasty barbecue. Families, students and alumni alike had the opportunity to launch bottle rockets with Daedalus Astronautics, learn about the future of energy with Quantum Energy and Sustainable Solar Technologies and take a virtual test drive in stock car, built from the ground up by ASU’s student chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
