Sci-fi evolves into technology with new ASU Center for Materials of the Universe

National Academy of Sciences member Alexandra Navrotsky is joining the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy in the Fulton Schools in her return to ASU to lead the university’s new Center for Materials of the Universe. The Center will expand ASU’s research linking solid state science, Earth science and planetary sciences to answer more questions about the constitution of the universe. Professor Navrotsky will also hold a position in the School of Molecular Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
