Among the most important strengths of a good leader are recognizing, supporting and leveraging the skills of people on your team, and putting them in positions to be successful, says Professor Kyle Squires. That approach is essential to effectively managing an organization as complex as one of the largest engineering schools in the U.S., says Squires, dean of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at ASU and the university’s senior vice provost for engineering, computing and technology.
