Climate change: local efforts won’t be enough to undo Trump’s inaction, study says
Yale University researchers contend national government leaders are doing too little to reduce threat of climate change. While there are local and regional efforts to deal with the problem of greenhouse gas emissions, the scientists say international and nationwide actions are also needed. Fulton Schools Professor Klaus Lackner, director of ASU’s Center for Negative Carbon Emissions, comments that it’s time to confront the challenge of finding sources of energy that won’t contribute to the problem and to reduce existing carbon buildup in the atmosphere.
