ASU selected as home and partner for CHIPS Act
Sally Morton, executive vice president of ASU Knowledge Enterprise, which advances research, innovation and entrepreneurship at ASU, is interviewed about the recent announcement that the U.S. Commerce Department and the National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology selected ASU to be the home of the center’s Prototyping and National Advanced Packaging Manufacturing Program’s Advanced Packaging Piloting Facility. The facility is expected to bring numerous jobs and billions of dollars in investment. The Fulton Schools will help to support the facility. Morton says the facility will be a major “game changer” for Arizona’s stature in the high-tech realm.
