ASU professor Dahm receives highest civilian Air Force award

Fulton Schools ASU Foundation Professor Werner Dahm received the U.S. Air Force Distinguished Public Service Award, the most prestigious Air Force award given to civilians. Dahm, a professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering, served on the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board for more than a decade. He was chair of the board from 2014 to 2017. Among its duties, the board conducts reviews of the $4.3 billion Air Force science and technology portfolio and recommends innovative applications of technology to improve Air Force capabilities.
