ASU hails entrance into elite group of research schools as sign of its growth

Arizona State University was recently selected as one of the newest members of the Association of American Universities, along with five other schools recognized for exemplary leadership in academics and research. ASU has increased research activity and investment to more than $677 million over the past two decades and been selected as the most innovative U.S. university for eight consecutive years by U.S. News and World Report. Many of the university’s notable research endeavors aimed at solving society’s major challenges and serving community needs are led by faculty in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.
