Advantest, NXP and Arizona State University Collaborate to Launch New Test Engineering Curriculum
ASU has teamed with two semiconductor industry companies to create a new “first-of-its-kind” test engineering course. Fulton Schools faculty members developed the course content, which has been enhanced by student laboratory experiments designed by the two companies, Advantest Corporation and NXP Semiconductors. The course focusing on production testing for mixed-signal and RF (Radio Frequency) circuits will be offered by the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, part of the Fulton Schools. Professor Sule Ozev, (at left in photo) who helped to develop the curriculum, says the new course will help efforts to provide the semiconductor industry a new generation of much-needed test engineers. The news is also reported by EP&T (Electronic Products and Technology), Digital Engineering24/7 and Design News.
