A hand gesture could be your next password

Personalized gesture passcodes are being explored as an alternative to typing passwords on keyboards for identity authentication to permit entry into computer networks and other electronic systems. Fulton Schools Associate Professor Dijiang Huang and graduate student Duo Lu are experimenting with use of finger and hand gestures as passcodes. They are employing machine learning to attempt to overcome challenges to making such biometric access controls reliable and secure.
