Two of the four ASU faculty members recently honored with the prestigious ASU President’s Professor title are Fulton Schools teachers and researchers. K. Selçuk Canden, a professor of computer science and engineering in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence and Sarah Stabenfeldt , a professor in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering, have earned the designation to honor the innovation and inspiration they inspire through their  teaching, as well as research and scholarly innovations. Stabenfeldt does research in regenerative medicine strategies for acute neural injury. Candan is doing pioneering work in managing and analyzing large, complex datasets, ranging from multimedia and web content to scientific research data and medical records.
